The thick smell and sizzle of hot oil and dough filled the gymnasium at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester last week.

Nearly 30 women huddled around spattering electric fry pans as they prepared more than 2,000 diples, which are servings of Greek fried dough.

Beckah Boyd says she first showed signs of having psychic abilities when she was a little girl growing up in Manchester. Since then, the 23-year-old has made a career of her psychic talents.
