• Top tap: Tap legend Gregory Hines died in 2003, a few months before he was scheduled to perform at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. A tribute to him, “Thank You, Gregory!,” visits the Capitol Center on Friday, April 9, at 8 p.m. Written and choreographed by Tony Waag of the American Tap Dance Foundation and produced by Dance Affiliates of Philadelphia, the show will be performed by a cast that includes Joseph Webb and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards of Broadway’s Bring in Da’Noise, Bring in Da’Funk. Tributes to tap legends Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Ray Bolger, Ruby Keeler, Jeni Legon, Ann Miller, Eleanor Powell, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, the Nicholas Brothers, Charles “Honi” Coles and Brenda Bufalino as well as Hines will be performed. • Dinner and revue: The Majestic Theatre in Manchester presents Forever Plaid as a dinner/dessert performance during their 20th anniversary season. In this musical revue, four male singers killed in a car crash in the 1950s are miraculously revived and seeking a chance to perform the show they didn’t make it to. Dinner seating is at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10, and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 11. Dessert seating is at 8:30 p.m. on April 9 and 10, and at 2:30 p.m. on April 11.
